The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has released the FY2026 Continuum of Care Competition Application. The MCoC will regularly update this webpage; check back regularly to keep up with the most up-to-date information and resources throughout the competition.

July 10, 2026 - DEADLINE: Eligibility Forms Due for Each Project, Submitted Electronically to Collaborative Applicant by 3:00p.m.
July 30, 2026 - DEADLINE: - Project Applications Due by 3:00p.m.
(Email PDF copy of Local Application and Supplemental Materials to Collaborative Applicant)
August 4, 2026: - Scoring Committee Meeting, Full Day
August 6, 2026: Ranking Committee Meeting
August 7, 2026: Applicants notified whether projects are Accepted, Rejected, or Reduced
August 10, 2026 - DEADLINE: Ranking Appeals Due to Collaborative Applicant in writing on company letterhead by 3:00p.m.
August 11, 2026 - HUD DEADLINE: Final Project Priority List Posted; Applicants must be notified whether projects are Accepted, Rejected, or Reduced
August 17, 2026 - CoC Application Draft Posted for Public Review and Commentary
August 19, 2026 - Comments and Electronic Vote to Approve COC Application Draft Due by 12pm
August 20, 2026 - DEADLINE: Anticipated Submission Date for MCoC Application
August 26, 2026 - HUD DEADLINE: HUD Final Deadline for CoC Application Submission by 8:00pm
Eligibility Forms:
Applicants who intend to apply for the FY26 NOFO Competition must submit an Eligibility Form for each project to the Collaborative Applicant via email by the deadline. The Eligibility Form will serve as your formal “letter of intent.”
Application Materials:
All FY26 Applicants are required to submit a Local Application and a Supplemental Application materials for each project. Failure to submit the required Local Application and Supplemental Application narratives and attachments may result in a reduced score or a rejected project application. MCoC Quality Review and Project Scoring Tools :
The New Project Quality Review Tool measures whether a new project application meets the threshold criteria to be scored.
The New and Renewal Project Scoring Tool provided below will be used by the Scoring Committee to assess project applications. Applicants should read the Scoring Tools before completing their applications. Scorers will only score applications based on information provided in the e-snaps application and in the supplemental application materials, so applicants should ensure that the information they provide in their responses fully answers the questions being asked by the Scoring Tools.

E-snaps Application Technical Assistance VIDEO - (90 min.) hosted on August 20, 2024
This video provides technical support for navigating the e-snaps website. It provides step-by-step guidance for New Applicants on every step of the application process: (1) creating an organization Applicant Profile, (2) registering and creating a new application, (3) navigating the project application, and (4) general application tips.
